COOKHAM DENE,
BERKS.

Dec 30t[h] 1888 -

W - Christian Symons Esq,

Dear Sir

It is with the greatest pleasure that I accept your kind invitation to join the committee for a dinner to Mr Whistler.

There is no artist living to whom I would more readily - or as readily - show such honour & regard as I could.

I am afraid though, as I am not living in town, that I cannot take any active [p. 2] part in the arrangements:
altho' if there is anything which I can do, here, I will be very happy to do it -

Believe me
Yours very truly

George Clausen
