Dear Mr Thomson -
I am much obliged to you for the report of Mr Tadema's lecture[4] - It has been attended to -
Whenever you come upon any thing you think interesting do send it to me at once - In this case, even though you put it off, your enclosure was the first account of that mad evening that I saw! -
I have received [p. 2] your post card, and note 300 gs. as the price of "Sea & Rain[5]" - Do they call it a Nocturne in the Speaker[6]? - No do you know I am afraid they don't - for I have just looked at it - The picture is called a Sea piece -
Now what are you asking for Chapman's[7] pictures? -
The Snow Nocturne[8]? - and what others have you got?
Is he selling you the Bognor[9]? -
Is it all right about the Sarasate[10] photograph? -
Well what do [you] think about the Eden case[11] as far as it has got? -
Pleasant the Baronet all [sic] so having to pay my costs as well as his own!
The original case, doesn't [p. 3] come now until after the holidays! - "vacances[12]"
How is business?
