My dear Mr. Whistler:-
The same Majestic boat that carries this carries me. I shall reach Liverpool, probably, a week from to-night, and in the course of a few days thereafter shall be in London where I shall hope again to have the pleasure of seeing you. Mr. Mansfield[3], by the way, left, on the Teutonic, two weeks ago to-morrow. I presume you have seen him ere this. I send you by this mail, also, a catalogue of my black and white display, at the Union League Club[4], of Brooklyn, last Winter. With compliments to Mrs. Whistler[5] and her sister[6], if she is with you, I am,
