Dear Sir,
As we have wired to you this morning our Paris house writes that they think they can place some of your pictures or pastels at prices from £200 downwards.
Having to send for the Lady Meux[2] portrait & Venice scene[3] as arranged with Mr Richards[4] we trust you will be able to add [p. 2] some examples for this purpose. We have to leave the choice to you, but we think that 3 of your figure pastels would be best & one or two (not more) in oil. Please send a note with the net prices to us "on approbation" as arranged.
