Your favor[4] of the 16 inst addressed to my Client Mr Whistler has been forwarded to me - He desires me to express his regret that the account does not receive an immediate settlement but when I tell you that I am making arrangements[5] which will meet all requirements I am sure you could not wish to put Mr Whistler in the meantime to any inconvenience or expence [sic] - I will write you again shortly -
