3. Lagoon Noon
These etchings, Lagoon: Noon (K.216), La Salute: Dawn (K.215), The Rialto (K.211), Ponte del Piovan (K.209), Little Court (K.236), Temple (K.234), Nocturne: Furnace (K.213), and La Salute: Dawn (K.215), are from A Set of twenty-six etchings of Venice, 1886 (the second 'Venice set') (K.196-216, 233-237). (excat 6).
4. destroyed
The edition was limited to thirty impressions of each etching - plus twelve extra of fifteen etchings (K.196-198. 201, 202, 204-207, 209-214). Thus, 40 impressions of The Rialto (K.211) and 30 of Little Court (K.236) having been printed, the copperplates were cancelled, and a proof of the cancelled plate printed to show the edition was complete.
