Oct. 20.

Dear Mr Thomson -

I shall have to read your letter again to make it all out - Meanwhile I wish to acknowledge the cheque for £28 -18-

The new lithographs will soon be ready & I will send you 3 sets -

I am of course very pleased to hear that Mr. Furse[4] cared to have one of the proofs - & also Sir John Day[5] -

You dont say whether you have received the [p. 2] Marine[6] - "Violet & Blue - among the rollers"?

Let me know when you get it - and have the back put in and pasted down all right - also the frame ought to be cleaned and retouched -

This they neglected to do on the Boulevards[7] although I told them about it -

I have also a little water colour[8] - I think I showed it to you - sea piece - If you want it you can let me know -

I hear you have had back three of Mr Potters pictures[9] - ? -

Write me a line -

Very Sincerely

J McN Whistler
