21, CHEYNE WALK,
CHELSEA.

Dear Sir -

I wish enough you could look in here on Monday afternoon - say at about 4. or half past -

I have been occupied in getting one or two of the Pastels[4] more completely ready for "business" - and should like to talk them over with you - I feel that a better sense of their price etc. etc. would [p. 2] be gained if your [sic] could discuss them with me in the Studio -

Come though while there is still plenty of light - for the little "Notes" are in very delicate colour! - so perhaps it were best not to be later than 4.

Very faithfully Yrs

J McN. Whistler

Friday night.
