Henley has failed you -
If he meant putting your article in, why postpone it!
However you write and ask casually what he means to do - and you could take as the occasion of
talking your writing him, the fact that Heinemann, whom you saw at Whistler's was under the impression that he had sent a copy of "the Book" to Henly - [sic] (and so was Whistler) - That, since then, Heinemann has [p. 2] looked the matter up - and finds that a copy was sent [to] The Scots Observer on June 14. - so Henly had better look the matter up -
