The Fine Arts Soc[i]ety have suceeded [sic] in obtaining Mr Whistler's consent to their bringing together, and showing, in something like a collection for the first time, the greater number of his lithographs -
A better moment could not have been chosen - for the revival of lithography has of late greatly occupied some of the most distinguished painters in this country, and Mr. Whistler's Exhibition will offer a rare occasion of seeing the work, to whose influence this latest movement in the art world is greatly due -
It is proposed that the Private View shall take place in the early part of December -
