Dear Mrs Addams -
I wired to you yesterday that the new letter to you both had been sent - But I doubt if it reaches you before Tuesday! -
Probably this will be just as soon - and the two come together[5] -
You see yesterday there was no boat! and the mountains [p. 2] acrross [sic] the island are covered with snow - and the railway is choked! and the letters take days! -
Ridiculous! isn't it -
Excellent - Parker's Academy[6]! - and the new order of Painting & drawing - and the rest of it! - In this way I daresay there will be a little dribble, for a while, of some [gravable?] souvenirs - puzzling very slightly the new Masters!
But it wont last long - And then they will all tramp off to Brittany - and there will be the end of it!
I hope[7] you will get the letter all right - though it may be delayed by the snow - How is it in Paris? I will wire if I change my address - until when you may write as usual - and for telegraphy Ajaccio is sufficient -
With kindest regards -
J McN W
