46, RUE HAMELIN

Vendredi.

Francis Vielé-Griffin

Translation:

Friday

My dear Master,

The hours of the lamp are those of the writer - so that your beautiful art of light and shade brings back hours of sunshine..

I am therefore only rarely at the café; nevertheless I shall be there this afternoon, sure of the pleasure of meeting you there, if I did not have to be elsewhere, at the time you indicated.

I shall make it my business to acquire for you the number of the Echo de Paris in question - Before coming to the Boulevard, tomorrow, I shall be able to send you the article that interests you.

Asking you to give my regards to these Ladies I remain, my dear Master, your very devoted

Francis Vielé-Griffin

Dec. 98.
