At Christies to-day two pastels by J. McN. W. Japanese Parasol[3] & On the Pier[4] belonging it is said to Deschamps[5] were sold for £ 44. 2/- & another pastel called "The White Girl[6]" a figure standing but not the Little White Girl[7] fetched £ 38- 17/-

Prices considered good on an off day at end of bad season
