Your favor[2] of yesterday's is at hand. -

We take due note of the proper title of the picture[3] purchased by us at the Duret's Sale[4], and have to thank you for the information.

We do not expect now to ship the picture to our House in New-York before a fortnight or so - Please therefore not to trouble you for the Certificate, unless we again ask you to kindly obtain it from the Consulate.

[p. 2] And we understand that the Consulate Charges of 12.50 francs are to be paid by us, as usual.
