Hombourg les Bains -

July 20 1891 -

Dear Whistler

My accounts from home show me in better form than I expected & you may accept it as very true that if you paint a sea-piece or any thing of that kind this summer that pleases & satisfies you, you may call it mine if you will - I write to say so positively because when in London, I felt a little doubtful what I could do -

With regards to Mrs Whistler[2]
Very sincerely yours

J. C. Bancroft

2.  Mrs Whistler
Beatrix Whistler (1857-1896), née Beatrice Philip, artist [more].
