[Glasgow emblem, and motto:] LET GLASGOW FLOURISH
CRAIBE ANGUS & SON,
FINE ART GALLERIES,
159, QUEEN STREET, GLASGOW.
Decr 7 '87.
Dear Mr Whistler
Set Jubilee Etchings, and others.
Our amateur[2], to whom I promised refusal of the etchings I selected from your portfolios, is very impatient to see the etchings, which we hope you can now forward. If you have any new etchings or any special impressions of your earlier etchings you might oblige us by sending them at the same time.
We have been informed that you are about to issue Second State of the Jubilee Set[3]. If this be so, we should like to have the opportunity of showing a set so soon as such is issued.
Picture
We have another amateur[4] who wants a good picture of yours. When are you likely to have something unique: and oblige
Yours truly
W C Angus
