Dear Mr Whistler,
The Venice set are framed, in white frames with the lines, ready to be exhibited as soon as we have a few more proofs of "The Doorway" and "The Beggars". The ones we propose to raise the prices of are: -
|"The Little Lagoon"||"||6.||6.||0|
|"The Two Doorways"||"||8.||8.||0|
Of "The Trag[h]etto" we have still 52 [p. 2] proofs so I thought we would let that remain at eight guineas[.] I should like to know if you approve of these prices.
The plate of "The Palaces" I should like to have as soon as you can send it.
If the exhibition is successful we should raise some of the others a little later on.
Hoping to hear from you about the other proofs.
Yours very truly
Ernest G. Brown.
