This list may relate to the private View of Nocturnes, Marines and Chevalet Pieces, Boussod, Valadon & Cie, Goupil Gallery, London, 1892. This took place on the 19 March.
Written mostly in unknown hands, except for the Times references, and the last four lines. '203' is written at the bottom of each page, and '3d?' at the top of p. 1, in another hand.
JW was collecting press-cuttings for possible use in the 1892 exhibition catalogue. These two newspapers contained reviews, the first, of the 6th Summer Exhibition, Grosvenor Gallery, London, 1882 (Times, 8 May 1882, p. 5), and the second of the 8th Summer Exhibition, Grosvenor Gallery, London, 1884, discussing Arrangement in Black: La Dame au brodequin jaune - Portrait of Lady Archibald Campbell (YMSM 242) (cat. no. 150) , 'which this fantastic painter has condescended to make a little more generally attractive than usual.' (Times, 1 May 1884, p. 6).
