Dear Whistler

Herewith check for £387. 18. 9 which squares off the Pastels[2] account - As we shall have to be out of anythe profit we may make out of this affair for a long time I hope that you will aid us in the Etchings[3] Printing - (which [p. 2] account too doesnt look very rosy) by printing off some more which I understand from Mr Brown[4] he is waiting for.
