No! Poet I refuse, -

I deliberately took possession of "The Bridge"[3] at the time as I told Whibley[4], those beautiful lines must be for no one else! - Wherefore there are no initials - but - Whistler!

Even I am as, to the blind horse, is the clean kick clearer than the subtle wink, so, to the British Public is the written name "in full" sometimes more suggestive than the delicately hinted initial.
