I have forwarded to you Mr Whistlers [a/c?] which is Considerably over Due[.] as our terms are monthly we must therefore beg you to favour us with [p. 2] the [a/c?] Monday without fail trusting you will not Disapoint [sic] us as I we [sic] Should be Very Sorry to have any further Trouble respecting it

Frederick Rowe (b. ca 1831), baker and confectioner [more]. Rowe had already requested payment of his debt on 20, 25 and 30 August (see F. Rowe to JW, #08856, #13253, #13255).

2.  Theodore Allingham
Theodore Frederick Allingham (b. 1845), solicitor [more]. Allingham seems to have dealt with a number of JW's debts to tradesmen around this time (see for example, T. Allingham to N. Thierry, #08959). By 7 September, JW owed £12. 9. 2. (see Rowe's account, #08862).
