1.  Dowdeswell and Dowdeswells
C. W. or one of his sons, Charles and Walter Dowdeswell, of Dowdeswell and Dowdeswell, art dealers.

3.  38
Printed in top right corner of ledger page.

4.  Chelsea Wharfe
The etchings listed are Chelsea Wharf (K.89), Cottage Door (K.250), The Seamstress (K.252), A Wharf (K.48), Battersea: Dawn (K.155), Village Sweet-shop (K.251), Glass-Furnace, Murano (K.217) and possibly Greenwich Park (K.35) - a mixture of early and recent etchings. JW requested payment on 15 August (#08630). The crosses, which were added later in pencil, may indicate what etchings were actually bought. Dowdeswell's sent JW a cheque for £21.5.8 on 29 August (#08618).
