2. H. Wunderlich and Co.
Wunderlich's held the first substantial exhibition of JW's work in America, 'Notes' - 'Harmonies' - 'Nocturnes', H. Wunderlich and Co., New York, 1889. This list includes all the works exhibited, with asterisks marking some sales. One of two columns of coded prices has been transcribed, possibly indicating the amount due to the dealer: the other column indicating total prices is largely illegible and has not been transcribed. The prices of works sold varied from $110 to $750 for works on paper, and $900 to $2600 for oils.
3. Caprice in Red
The works exhibited were mostly works on paper, including early works such as Note in flesh-colour gold - The Golden Blossom (M.402) and recent ones such as Grey and Pink (M.1209).
