I want you by all means to make an appointment with Webb[3], that you may go down to his offices and tell him every detail you know now that it is fresh - He will put it all in with the rest - and you dont know how important every thing [p. 2] is! You have no idea of the extraordinary business going on! and seem to think I have an exagerated idea - and that very little is [illegible] occurring! It is an organised conspiracy - and now you have a great chance of helping me! so dont miss it!
Find Richeton[4] - and get the pictures - and tell Webb all about your visits while fresh in your mind -
Always

[Important?]
Notes:
1. [July/August 1901?]
The address is crossed out with a large 'X'; '1901' is written in another hand. The sequence of letters in Kennedy's album suggests a date of August 1901. However, the reference to Richeton suggests it may have dated from between July and November. Several letters from JW to Kennedy, dating from 19 and 29 July 1901, refer to Richeton (#09820, #09821). Furthermore a letter from Richeton to Kennedy dates from 7 August 1901 (#09867) and from Kennedy to JW, 15 November 1901 (#07335).
2. Edward Guthrie Kennedy
Edward Guthrie Kennedy (1849-1932), dealer with H. Wunderlich and Co., New York [more].
3. Webb
William Webb (b. ca 1851), of G. and W. Webb, lawyer [more]. See Kennedy's note on this letter, #09875.
4. Richeton
Possibly Léon Richeton (1854-1934), artist and sculptor [more].
