110, Rue du Bac - Paris.

Oct. 15 (1894)

My dear Mr. O. K. -

Your letter[3] arrived on the 11th - last week - and on the same afternoon we packed up and sent off to you the latest lithographs together with the old proofs you asked for - excepting the "Bebes[4]" of which I have none - will send on.

It would have to be a very different "cutter" from any of the picture dealing cutters in England or over here either, that could cut away the ground under your feet, as far as I am concerned, O.K!! - or put your "nose out of joint"!

All other noses by the way, in the dealing lines are clean gone from the impudent faces to which they belonged as far as I am concerned.

Of all this another time - I am so awfully busy and must run off now.

You will be pleased to know that the third sea-piece is sold to one of our countrymen[5] and goes to America at once - So now I must go and paint some more - for all the marines are gone.

What do you think of the new lithographs? Are they not lovely?

Here is the list of the last batch sent on Oct. 11

2 Proofs La Fruitère de la Rue de Grenelle[6] 8/8/-
2 " La Belle Dormeuse 8/8/-
1 " La Robe Rouge 4/4/-
1 " The Green House (last I can find) 3/3/-
2 " Vitre 8/8/-

Shall be writing to you directly and am sending off proof of the "Bebes du Luxembourg"

In great haste
Always sincerely

J McN Whistler
