Dear Mr McCorkindale -
I am so pleased to know that the little picture is at last safe with you - and that you like it -
They tell me that you were disappointed in not seeing the "Fire Wheel" at Antwerp -
It appears to have been delayed on its way from Hamburg - but [p. 2] a man told me the other day that he has since seen it, beautifully placed in the Exposition in Antwerp - So thats all right -
If I still have it at the end of the exhibition & you want to see it I could send it up to you -
J McNeill Whistler
The Bank has just sent me the enclosed - I suppose you forgot something - & they are so particular! -
