Notes:

1.  10 July 1878
Dated from last date of account.

2.  S. Ladenburg and Co
In September 1865 JW and his brother escorted their mother to an optician in Coblenz, and it is possible he was then also in Mayence (Mainz). Ladenburg's bills of 10 March 1866 (#08939) and 9 October 1876 (#08940), as well as this account, remained unpaid, and are recorded in JW's bankruptcy records in May 1879 (see #11926).
