This account was apparently unpaid and came to James Anderson Rose (1819-1890), solicitor [more], with JW's bankruptcy papers, in 1879.

The London Gaslight Company was one of the rapidly growing number of gas light companies serving the London metropolitan area.
Added in another hand, probably by J. A. Rose.

JW moved into the White House designed for him by Edward William Godwin (1833-1886), architect and designer [more], in June 1878.
