I write in the most awful hurry to say that I trust you understood my wire[4] this morning and that you have had Mr Vanderbilt's portrait[5] taken from my Studio and with its frame sent on to the Goupils here - I prefer this to picture [p. 2] case coming to Studio here, as much less delay occurs as I found last time! -
There are a thousand things I want to write to you about when I get a moment!
