Dear Mr. Thomson -
I have just had your note -
If you come on Saturday to the house here at about 6.30. and wait for me while you are having a cup of tea, I will get home from the studio and will be delighted to see you -
I am sorry that Mrs. Whistler[4] is not at all well just now - so that we cannot get out together
[p. 2] But if Mrs. Thomson[5] will come with you on Saturday, we would be delighted to see her - and I should like to show her the garden -
