Mrs. Beatrice Whistler

Your esteemed favor[4] of 29th Sept has been duly received, and in reply I beg to say that the drawings will be returned from Chicago by the 19th and I will then send the pictures by first steamer.

There was another (No. 41.[5]) sold and I expect that one or two more will be taken.

I am much pleased to learn that the new plates[6] will soon be ready and am sure they are delightful, please ask Mr. Whistler to send them by mail on a wooden roller, or to ask Mr. G. Lauser[7] to send them for him.

Most respectfully Yours

Hermann Wunderlich
