Dear Tucker -

I have made enquiries about Lake Starnberg[3] & from all I can learn about it, I should think it would suit admirably. My informant is a german [sic] Physician who tells me [p. 2] it is quite a place of resort for convalescents from in Germany. The air is mild but not too warm; & would be very suitable from now until the end of September.

I hope you have not thought that I had forgotten about it as I have been long in letting you know; but I have not been able to [p. 3] obtain any reliable information until now.

I have heard nothing from Miss Tucker[4] since I saw you, but I hope you have had news that she is better. My kind regards to them all if you are writing.

Yours ever

W. Mac Neill Whistler.
