Dated by comparison of writing and butterfly signature with other menus (see #06855). The inclusion of mince pies suggests that the menu dates from around Christmas.

This may be a draft since the full date, and one course, are missing.

The menu, written in French, comprised oyster soup, mutton with caper sauce, snipe, mince pies, stewed pears, cheese omelette, and coffee.
