Dear Sir,
Mr Way[3] is proceeding with the Catalogues & the Bills for we suppose the one sent yesterday will not do.
Cards[4]. Will you kindly let us have thes design back at once, as we require to have them in hand so as to be in time.
Leathart[5] - He promises his picture[6] [p. 2] if we insure it against all risks for £800. So that is settled.
We send you the Globe & the P. M. G.[7] for last evening, but doubtless if you are a su[b]scriber to the 'Cutting' people[8] you will be receiving them that way too.
Carlyle[9] - We are writing to Glasgow about the Carlyle portrait in the way suggested.
Richards[10] is being told what you say & he is really doing his best in every way.
[p. 3] Mr Rawlinson[11]. He is in a fix about his picture[12]. It shows some cracks & a few are quite visible. He is writing to you direct. We shall send the picture to Boulevard Montmartre & if you will call in there on Tuesday or so you could examine it & say what you think ought to be done
Yours faithfully
