My dear Major -
I fear I cannot get off this Saturday! Vanderbilt[4] appears tomorrow!
However it may be all for the best - for I may get through [p. 2] almost at once - and then be able to stay on a week or ten days - which would be worth while -
Of course it is all right about the beautiful little watch! or you would have heard - So I am comparatively happy again!
You left out the shaving possibilities Major! and I have to accept the utensils of Tummas[5]!
