My dear Mr. Huish -

I am for the moment rather worked out - so only a line at this end of the day -

Way[3] has sent other proofs - & I will sign them - & post them on to you. The "Toilet"[4], may perhaps go in the Show - but there is another one of the same model seated (of the same period) which he has not [p. 2] sent - I think he calls it the seated figure - She is leaning back in a chair - That I will not have in the exhibition - I dont like it & never did -

Flag[5] - I had imagined hanging from staff - and caught up at the other end over the Balcony - "Graceful you know" - as Mr Pecksniff[6] might say - & the Butterfly would be seen right enough for he is near the top - Post the patterns of stuff anyhow tomorrow & I will think this over -

What is Mr Brown[7] going to do about the little drawing? tell him I payed 15 guineas for it myself at the sale[8] - so I dont make much & leave him plenty of margin - But if I have his price it ought be guineas - Dont you think?

Tell him from me not to "nibble the bit off the cheque"!
