1.  [November 1877?]
The list overlaps, but does not exactly correspond, with lists of sales made by JW to or through Howell, dated 9 and 11 November 1877 (#12738, #12739).

2.  Charles Augustus Howell
Charles Augustus ('Owl') Howell (1840? - d.1890), entrepreneur [more].

3.  JW
This list was apparently acquired by JW, since it came with his estate to the University of Glasgow. However, it may have been Howell's own record of acquisitions from JW, and acquired by JW after Howell's death.

4.  Speke Hall
Speke Hall, No.1 (K.96), or Speke Hall, No.2 (K.143).

5.  Charley
The Boy (K.135) was a portrait of Charles James Whistler Hanson (1870-1935), engineer, son of JW and Louisa Fanny Hanson [more].

6.  Draped figure
Possibly The Model Resting (K.100).

7.  Fanny
Fanny Leyland (K.108).

8.  Pool
Probably The Pool (K.43).

9.  Speke Shore
Speke Shore (K.144).

10.  London Bridge
London Bridge (K.153).

11.  Pickle Herring -
From Pickle-Herring Stairs (K.167).

12.  From Limehouse
Probably Limehouse (K.40).
