Notes:

1.  [15 November 1877]
The accounts date from between 17 September and 15 November 1877, but the document must date from on or after 15 November. The accounts continue in #02178.

2.  Charles Augustus Howell
Charles Augustus ('Owl') Howell (1840? - d.1890), entrepreneur [more].

3.  County Court
This may be connected with a court case involving Howell.

4.  Speke Avenue
Probably Speke Hall, No.2 (K.143). Other sales of etchings at this date are recorded in #02178.

5.  Little head
Not identified. It is unusual to find a head not identified by name, unless it was an incomplete plate such as Two slight sketches (K.120).

6.  Chapman
Howell arranged for the delivery and possibly the sale of Cremorne (YMSM 168) to Alfred Chapman (1839-1917), engineer and collector [more] (see Howell to JW, #02182, and accounts, #12738).
