I have duly received your wire and our packer having no correspondant [sic] in London, I have instructed Mr Louis Vuitton[2], of 289 Oxford Str., to take, at your house, the pictures you had for the exhibition, and to forward them to me at once. -

Mr Renoir[3] wishes me to thank you for [p. 2] joining the exhibition and I am, myself, very thankful to you for your kindness.
