Dear Mr Whistler

Your telegram was sent after me to London and I am sorry to learn that you have been one of the sufferers by La Grippe[2] - I am pleased that you have so cordially agreed to my ideas and proposal. I would have called & seen you when in town had you [p. 2] been Convalescent - There is no hurry at all about my little matter[3] - It will be all right at your own Leisure & Convenience - I hope you are making a good recovery -

Yours, Very truly

Robert Crawford
