Dear Mr. Thomson -
It has a certain twang and is of that assumed jauntiness that has always betrayed him since his piracy business! - also a certain foolish inconsequence and muddle that smells of our friends whisky! - In any case find this out for me - but without drawing attention -
You will see that we now have the man in his true character of simple swindler - and I send you copies of the affidavits which you will show wherever you think it worth while -
I must send copies to the Glasgow Art Club - for he used to frequent the place - so do give [p. 2] me the proper address & particulars -
I have had Ford kicked out of the Galignani's Paper - and it is well that such a scoundrel should be couped up altogether if possible -
I cannot understand about the Album business - Surely you had my letter - Perhaps you have not had time to answer yet - though the matter presses - I mean about the absence of the Bognor & presence of Lange Leizen -
Many thanks about the Ruskin -
Do let me hear from you -
Also about Sarasate -
You might get photograph taken - size of Dame au Brodequin jaune - or Rosa Corder -
