Cards - - No it will never do to offend Way[3] - You must go back to him - Also he will have to print the catalogue - even if it be only a slight list -

Promised paintings - Get them all in - They ought all to go to Richards[4] - cleaned - & varnished -

Indeed what you have already should be seen by him - at once - He will have none too much time -

Mrs. Percy Wyndham's Nocturne[5] - Richards must have it at once - I was [p. 2] writing to him telling him to call at 44. Belgrave Square - but you had perhaps better send - it will be quicker - I enclose line to Housekeeper - and have since written saying that Richards will take it away - There has been an accident - a hole in the canvas - Richards must repair it -

Mr. Ionides[6] - You ought to have Nocturne Valparaiso[7] - Sea and Rain[8] and yet another small painting of some oyster smacks[9] or fishing boats going out in the evening - Also beg him to procure for you the Old Battersea bridge[10] - belonging to his late father[11] at Hastings -

Cyril Flower[12] - The Gold Screen - the other is not a Nocturne!! but a little picture of Chelsea - with an almond tree in the foreground - Take it - and when I come I will settle about it -

Potter[13] - J. C. Potter[14] - is the son - Accept everything - and send on to Richards - The portrait is the famous Little White Girl[15] - Richards must clean and varnish at once -

Chapman[16] - Beg him to hurry - He ought to give you - :- 1. Nocturne Grey & Gold - snow piece, 2. Nocturne Bognor - 3. Nocturne Southampton Water - 4. Sea Piece -

Leathardt[17]. Get his picture at once for Richards -

Cards - I enclose rough sketch[18] on back of Breakfast invitation - Only the whole thing ought to begin lower down -

"The presence of" should begin about where the Mr. Whistler is on the other side - All smallest printing, excepting Private View and Mr. Whistler -

Hanging, etc - Will try to be with you by the Wednesday or Thursday before - This not to be spoken of -
