Although originally asssumed to date from about 1886, this rough list (written in pencil) appears to relate to JW's plans for an exhibition, Nocturnes, Marines and Chevalet Pieces, Boussod, Valadon & Cie, Goupil Gallery, London, 1892. Another such list is dated [4 January 1892], #08214.

'Millie Finch Black' has not been identified, the other known large portrait being Harmony in Fawn Colour and Purple: Portrait of Miss Milly Finch (YMSM 238).

JW's pastels of Venice, drawn 1879-1880, such as Sunset; red and gold - Salute (M.810). These were not included in numbers in any shows except Venice Pastels, The Fine Art Society, London, 1881.
