Identity:
Robert George Windsor-Clive, Baron Windsor, later became the Earl of Plymouth. He was the son of Hon. Robert Windsor-Clive and Lady Mary Selina Louisa Bridgeman. On 11 August 1883, he married Alberta Victoria Sarah Caroline Paget. They had four children. In 1905, he became the 1st Earl of Plymouth.

Whistler painted Gay Paget in the garden of Wortley Hall, Yorkshire (M.854).
