Identity:
Ernest Albert Waterlow was a landscape and animal painter.
Life:
He studied in Heidelberg, Lausanne and at the Royal Academy Schools. He went on to exhibit widely, at the Royal Academy, the Grosvenor Gallery and the New Gallery. In 1898, during JW's presidency, he was invited to exhibit at the International Society of Sculptors, Painters and Gravers. He was knighted in 1902 and elected RA in 1903.
