Identity:
Arthur George Walker was a sculptor, illuminator, figurative painter and mosaic designer.
Life:
He studied at the Royal Academy Schools and in Paris. He went on to become a regular exhibitor at the Royal Academy (he was elected RA in 1936), the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool and the Royal Scottish Academy. In 1898, he was invited to exhibit with the International Society of Sculptors, Painters and Gravers when JW was President.
