Georgiana Horne Payne, who was the widow of G. Sergent Atwood from the U.S.A., married the barrister John Horne Payne in 1868.

Life:

Georgiana's husband John Horne Payne was called to the Bar on 17 November 1863. He was the eldest son of Reuben Craven Payne of Bridgewater Street, and the translator of The Addresses of the Hungarian Diet 1861, to H.M. the Emperor of Austria (London, 1862). In the 1870s and 1880s they lived at 20 Kensington Square. Her husband had an office at 8 Kings Bench Walk.
