W. Stuart Lloyd was a landscape and marine painter.

Life:

Lloyd was active exhibiting between 1875 and 1929, showing in London at the Royal Academy, Royal Institute of Oil Painters, Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colour, Grosvenor Gallery and Society of British Artists. In 1879 he was elected a member of the Society of British Artists, a society which was to appoint JW its President in 1886.
