Identity:
Auguste Charlotte Koopman was a landscapist, decorator and printmaker.
Life:
Koopman studied in Philadelphia and later in Paris with William-Adolphe Bougereau and Robert Fleury. He exhibited with the American Art Association, New York, Paris (where he was awarded bronze and silver medals for his decorative work for at the Paris Exposition, 1900) and in Buffalo (1901).
