Life:
He wrote Etching in America..., 1886; Some Modern Etchings by S. G. McCutcheon, Frank Waller, etc, 1884; Madonnas by Old Masters, 1888; Selected etchings. Important plates by Stephen J. Ferris, Stephen Parish and others, 1890. He edited The Art of the World, illustrated in the paintings and statuary and architecture in the World's Columbian exhibition, 1894.
